Christmas Galore

Hi there! Guess who’s back?? Yesss that’s right! Flo is back! Finally back with another blog post. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA here. I’ll go straight into it.

So since Christmas is coming in super fast, I’ve spend the past few days (maybe weeks) cranking out Christmas cards and I had like around 50 recipients (eeeek!) and yes you read that correct! 50 recipients!! That’s including families and friends! Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever made that many!

Let me start with the simple ones, I made around 30 of these, mainly were sent to families and some friends. I stamped out the ornaments from Hero Arts card kit from last year with Lawn Fawn inks, die cut them with the coordinating dies and added twines. I told myself earlier this year, FLO!! You have so many paper pads and you keep on buying them but barely use them. You better use them ASAP! And so I’ve chose some pattern papers and trimmed them down to 4×5.25inch. Glued them onto my card base and then the ornament. The kit came with some small “label” dies, I die cut around 30 of them, used the sentiments that came with the kit. Adhered the small labels onto my ornaments and voila! Cards are done!! Ehhh no not yet! I actually stamped the inside of the card at the end, choose two sentiments. One is from Lawn Fawn Merry Messages and the one on the bottom is from Simon Says Stamp Christmas Squad. Green garland is from Altenew Happy Dreams. The red dots are from Simon Says Stamp Mandy’s Flowers, in case you wanted to know haha XD

Onto my next cards! This beautiful stamp is from Unity Stamp Company, which I won from a giveaway. I stamped them on three card panels and colored them with Copic makers. Die cut the panels using different frame dies. And choose my pattern/background paper to match the color of the cups! I added some star sequins on the purple one but I’m not too happy with it but didn’t want to remove the stars so I left it the way it is. For the two other cards, I added some berries and leaves from Hero Arts Joy stamp set.

For my third set of cards, I used this Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Tree that I bought more than a year ago but haven’t used it (I bet you can relate to that as well haha) I choose the green inks from Lawn Fawn that I wanted to use and stamped them. After my third layer, it looked a bit boring so I took my Delicata Silvery Shimmer and Golden Glitz and stamped the fourth layer on it and it looked complete now!! I die cut the card panels using Katscrappiness stitched dies and My Favorite Things Wonky Stitch Lines. Choose some “candy cane” pattern paper as my background and adhered it on the card base. And cut out some pattern papers that I thought it goes well together, adhered it and then adhered the Christmas tree panels. I added bows and some Nuvo drops and they were complete!

The shimmer is so pretty but kinda hard to see in the pictures.

For my fourth set of cards, I used Ornamental Season from Unity Stamp Company. Stamped onto 4 card panels, I colored them a few weeks back during the coloring challenge from Kathy. Adhered them onto green and red card stock that is slightly larger than the panel itself. Chose my pattern paper, trimmed them down to 4×5.25inch because I wanted a white border. Added a strip of pattern paper and adhered my stamped panel on top. Since the image was kinda “busy” already, I only added a few enamel dots and they were done!

Took forever to color these but they are so cute!

Ok, if you are still with me, I thank you very much as I know, this is a very long blog post and hope I didn’t bored you to dead yet lol.

For my fifth set of cards, I used Spellbinders Holiday tree dies. The dark green glitter paper that I die cut on, didn’t die cut al the way but still decided to use it as it is.  Chose three pattern paper from Recollections Glisten and Glow paper pad. Cut the pattern paper into my desired sizes, adhered them onto  my card base, glued my tree and my star on top. For the sentiment I cut a 1 inch strip of card stock, gave it a little fish tail using WRMK Mini Alphabet punch board and stamped my sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and the two other banners I stamped with Versamark and used gold embossing powder and heat set that. On my banners I used Nuvo Bright Gold drops and green enamel dots.

I am so in love with the snowflakes pattern paper!!

For my sixth set of cards, these were fast ones. For the gold stars on the black card stock, I had used Deco Foil Transfer Gel over a Hero Arts stencil and then used gold foil over it. It was so much fun peeling off the foil to see the results. Trimmed my black panel into 2.75×4.75inch, adhered onto my “candy cane” pattern paper where top and bottom were showing, about 0.25inch. Adhered that on my favorite snowflake pattern paper and then onto my card base. For the sentiment, I used this Season’s Greetings die, trimmed it down and just adhered on the black card stock and we are done with this one! Phew!!

Shimmer shimmer shimmer!!

For this card, that is full of gold, I also used Deco Foil transfer gel and foiled it with gold foil. Used the same Season’s Greetings die and adhered on the card base. Since it was already super gold-ish I decided to leave it as it is.

Beware! Do not look at this card in the sun!

For my seventh and last set, I was actually playing with my homemade wreath builder card stock using this pretty Merman and Peacock ink cubes from Lawn Fawn. Stamps are from Hero Arts November 2017 card kit and Altenew Happy Dreams stamp set. I decided to use them as mini Christmas cards. The card base is 4.25×4.25 and adhered a teal colored card stock onto my base and added my pretty wreath. Snowflake button on 1 card and a trimmed foiled snowflake on the other.

I absolutely love this color!

I sincerely thank you so much for sticking with me till the end, even if you didn’t read everything lol. Leave me a comment if enjoyed my blog post! Love ya! Until very soon!!
