Needlework

Hello my dear friends! I hope your day is going well! Today I will be sharing a card I made for my dear crafty friend Heather. It was for their birthday. On elf her favorite color is purple, so I focused on purple when making this card for her. The title is a bit deceiving because there are no needles involved in making this card! So let’s get started!

1. For the background, I used the Step Builder stencil from Altenew. These builder stencils are awesome!! You can make amazing geometric background on your projects. For this purple card I used Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Inks.
2. Next I stamped this beautiful flower motif (Altenew Needlework Motif stamp set) with Versamark ink and gold heat embossed it. I did the same with the envelope and the sentiment. I put a strip of gold washi tape on the top to match the gold heat embossed image.
3. Final step, adhered the panel on your card base (duh! Of course you knew this step but still I typed it down haha)
